After working hard on collecting and counting 100 items at home, the students shared their projects with the class. We compared/contrasted projects that were made with similar items (such as food or Legos) or were presented in a similar way (such as in a plastic bag), and we talked about why each child's collection of 100 items look different.
The students also predicted which collection would weigh more, and we used a pan-balance scale to put their predictions to the test!
The students also enjoyed weighing different items at the Science table during play time.
