Students begin learning how to read with a partner. Partnership reading will occur throughout the entire year and will evolve as the children learn more and more!
Students learned that readers sound like experts when they read non-fiction books. So, as they read non-fiction books, they used their prior knowledge, along with the detailed pictures, to read like they are an expert on that topic!
